Is rooming-in refunded?

Is your son or daughter going to be hospitalised? Rooming-in expenses are charges for the stay of a parent during a hospital admission of a child.

It depends on your policy conditions whether these costs are reimbursed or not. Provide us with the child's hospitalisation invoice, including the costs for rooming-in. A separate invoice for e.g. hotel costs in the name of the parents will never be refunded.

Does your policy provide a refund? This reimbursement usually depends on the age of the child. Often, there is also a limitation in our intervention regarding the number of days of rooming-in, or a maximum amount is fixed.
