Report your illness
Let us know that you are ill and provide us with a report from your doctor with the diagnosis and the treatments followed and planned. We will open a file and you will hear from us soon whether your illness is covered by your hospitalisation insurance.
Hint: Reporting a serious illness is required when you start up your file. In case you need to be hospitalised, you have to do a seperate declaration of hospitalisation.

Collect your costs
Is your condition accepted as serious illness? Keep proof of all medical expenses you incur in connection with your illness. This includes your treatments and some outpatient care, such as doctor’s visits, registered medication, physio or nursing.

Submit your costs
Provide us with all the evidence of medical expenses you have incurred, such as doctor’s visits or costs at the pharmacist. The Vanbreda app makes it easy for you to submit costs. And you automatically have access to our AssurPharma service!
